Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

Playing around with trying to get exif on the camera for a Nikon lens. With the Metabones MkIII adapter and an EMF AF confirm chip can now program it but the camera only does metering at f/2.

Very nice photo. I am interested in the CV 12mm as a possible replacement for my old Sigma 12-24mm lens. Would you happen to have experience of how the Sigma compares (corner sharpness, color cast, distortion, etc.) to the CV 12mm? I have the older version Sigma but comparisons to the new would also be useful.

John

Thanks John,

the distortion is absolutely OK
Corner Sharpness OK
Color cast extremely present, but can control with LCC

There's a reason why I bought the FE 16-35mm.
photos from darkness or with dark edges, the LCC doesn´t work
This is the main reason for changing

You're welcome! I always enjoy your photos. You've made some excellent images with the amazing lenses you use. And thanks for the info. I find it better to get direct answers from someone who has the lens. On-line reviews always leave me with questions.

Regards,
John
