Thank you very much for the positive responses and likes for the "Ikarus" shot!

There is more coincidence in such a shot shot than intention. As i have written in Flickr, i prefocused at about 6 m, took a high shutter speed and F 8 for DOF, ISO accordingly. My wife was throwing bread crumbs for the gulls to fly - shoot and hope.

Nice Motor!

Camden Town, Christmas Day

Sony A7r+cron 35/2

Louis, I have a personel memory on this car, the Alvis. Long long time ago, I think it was 1967, I had a Dutch girlfriend (my first real one) who studied in London and she had a beautifull girlfriend who was au pair at a millionaire.

Besides other automobiles, this was his leisure car.
We used to go out the 4 of us and he would drive us around London to his favourite pubs in his white open Alvis. I felt like a popstar.

PS For those carlovers that are interested http://www.alvisoc.org/

Many years ago, I took a photography course. Then, as now, I had a penchant for horizontal lines and abstracts. The teacher would look at my work, sigh, and say "I suppose everyone has to go through that phase."

Well, I'm still there.

A7II, 16-35/4, fairly tight crop.

Best,

Got a good deal on a Novoflex Leica R adapter, so I can finally use my Leica R lenses without inner reflections, so far.
