Hi Louis - The monument is in Jersey City (New Jersey). The granite base contains soil from Katyn. Hudson river separates downtown NYC from this location. This is a popular vantage point, well connected to NYC by public transport- the new WTC is 5 minutes away via subway.

The new Sony/Zeiss 16-35 f/4 arrived just in time to snap some pasta cooking.

A7II + Sony 16-35 FE Vario-Tessar @ 35mm ISO 3200, f/4.5.

We had the same balmy Xmas here on the 45th parallel, Carl - but very little snow yet, just a dusting. Love your first shot!
