When I scroll the picture to the top of my screen and line up the horizon at the left (right of the breakwater) the right side of the horizon is about 1,5 mm lower. Can't trust auto level apparently .Thanks I thought I did straighten it though. I used the LR lens profile then auto level. Maybe it's the breakwater in the upper left hand side that makes it look slightly skewed!
I've taken perhaps 20 frames with the lens, though when I get home I'll put up some full-res samples for your perusal. It's decent stopped down, in the center, in the middle of the zoom range - as long as you correct for the heavy CA and a nasty bluish color cast! :banghead: The 100-200mm 4.5 also lacks Minolta's traditional color signature, which is too bad. It's only real asset is that it weighs very little. Please post a few large samples with this combo if you can. I have been looking at picking up one of the Minolta AF zooms for use with my A7. Thanks!

Many thanks Werner...Apologies for not coming back sooner as I had to go out earlier, yes just a single shot is all that is required.Barry the last shot HDR? HDR from one shot?
Very nice!

No I haven't. We don't get many lizards, only garden skinks, where I live but 5 mins down the road at my in laws they get plenty. I will keep an eye out. Here is a recent lizard but I only had my phone on me.Slingers:
How lucky you are to have such amazing parrots in your neighborhood. Australia has some of the most amazing fauna. I envy you that. I used to raise and breed reptiles and the one species I always regretted not having photographed was the shingleback skinks that I came across. By any chance have you ever taken a picture of one. They make an interesting photographic subject because of their odd texture.
Nice dragon. Much cooler than the boring painted turtles in my pond. Thanks for the link.No I haven't. We don't get many lizards, only garden skinks, where I live but 5 mins down the road at my in laws they get plenty. I will keep an eye out. Here is a recent lizard but I only had my phone on me.
When I'm straightening a horizon I think of pegelli.
Nice!A7II, Tamron 150-600, f10, ISO 800. Rather wet from having rolled in the remains of our snow!
How does the whole frame look like? Are the corners mushy?Trying out a Kolari modded A7R with a Leica SEM 21:
Vivek:I have not even started to scratch the potential of this camera. There is a lot of magic to be captured.
