Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

This is known as the Portwrinkle stack - A cormorant is sitting on the very top of the stack.
This is the third time I have attempted to get to these rocks and today I finally succeeded, it’s only a short 4 mile walk round trip but hard going along the soft sands.
You have to time it just right with regards to the tide times otherwise it’s very easy to get cut off by the sea and trapped against the cliffs; it’s a beautiful uninhabited part of Cornwall.
The large loose boulders are from a landslide...A7RII + 21mm Loxia
Well worth your effort : beautiful.

Lake Vyrnwy Straining Tower
The straining tower at Vyrnwy is an imposing castle like structure a total of 48 metres high, standing in about 15 metres of water, which stands by the lake quite close to the dam.
Lake Vyrnwy supplies Liverpool with water, and it travels there along a 70 mile aqueduct which starts at the Straining Tower, where any detritus is removed by a mesh filter.

Great Michiel

Did you also have a pic title "Etretat with golf course"
I was confused; This should be Yveport with bunker! I don't know of any bunkers in Etretat.
I did post a picture, some years ago; Etretat with golf course.
You have a good memory!

I wanted to ask yesterday, if you can go closer. A beautiful place. Thanks for your sight on it. :)
Thank you SEB, I drove around the lake and only found a few places where there were gaps in the dense underbrush to take a shot of the gothic tower...I will upload a few more later when I have more time...Thanks again.
Cheers Barry

.
The Magnolias are in full bloom now, soon too litter the yard with their luscious petals and get on with disguising themselves as "just another tree," declaring that Spring is finally here...
