Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

This is Tintagel Castle (Home of King Arthur)...Taken the other evening on a walk along the clifftops.
At low tide you can get onto the beach via going down the steps and enter Merlin’s Cave...It’s all a bit touristy but nonetheless a beautiful area of Cornwall

Thanks Michiel. Despite not having much materially, these people, especially the children appeared to be happy and healthy. I saw young children playing, swimming, diving and rowing boats. The sea is their playground. Their food comes from the sea and they sell the excess in the market to buy clothing, rice, vegetables, etc. Unfotunately, large scale commercial fishing have intruded into their fishing grounds and their catch has dropped. We brought along 300kg of rice and cooking oil to distribute to some of these people. The sea in this region is just gorgeous, clear pristine water with clear blue sky most of the time.

nsng,

Beautiful work. Love the last 2 portraits, but that last one in B&W, is beautiful, haunting, and one for the ages. Huge story in her face.

Thanks for sharing,

Joel

Thanks Joel. I was fascinated with her face and I captured quite a number of her images. At times she looked very mature, but suddenly her expression became child-like. I have a number of images where she looked at me or at my camera, but I felt they were too static or predictable. Here are more of my photos from this trip,

A few friends convinced me to go shoot some birds the other day. From a small boat near a rookery.

Beautiful blonde ...

A vastly expanded area for exhibiting photography – allegedly the largest in USA.
