Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

Some shots around the house with the Pentax-A 28/2 I recently bought. In case I might buy the Pentax-K in a weak moment. :D
The image quality of that camera is stirring things up for that price :D
Pentax/Ricoh do know how to get the maximum out of Sony sensors, I did notice that with the Ricoh GRX and people who have a GR do know all about it.
(BTW I am not a troll )

First @ F 11 or 8 and the second wide open. I like the lens a lot.
This is on my A7r (the same sensor, I believe)

Back from a trip to Utah, Arizona and Nevada. One A7 + one A7ii. Very impressed with the IBIS in A7ii. Both performed like champs in dust and rain.

This series with A7/A7ii + Leica APO Elmarit 180.

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

This is version II. I have not seen any evident degradation but usually I do not use the modified version with native lenses. I have also unmodified A7RII and A7s to be used with the native lenses.
The only problem I encounter sometime with the mod version is the erratic white balance: I have a self made profile but that does not solve the issue.

Lac de Joux (evening and morning) (A7RII + Loxia 21/2.8) and Grotte de Vallorbes (A7RII + Sony FE 55/1.8)

An other one from the same day . A7II FE 1,8 55mm at f8 . I love the old (older) tank equipment .
I have seen newer "plants" which look far too clean and almost unused .

Everyday this old, retired Ethiopian priest walks several hundred steps up a hill slope to reach this church inside a cave, Lalibela. A7R w/FE55
