The fishing net makes that picture IMO, it is more than just the beautiful silhouette of the man and construction.

The "Ritz", was nicknamed so by the workers themselves, because it contrasted with the previous rudimentary facilities they knew before. Here they got both showers and bathrooms. If I remember correctly, the workers were distributed in small dormitories housing six persons each, in bunk beds. At the peak of the construction works, there were about 1600 workers busy there, mostly miners. Now the cable car brings the tourist at the top of the dam.

Taken last night crossing Dartmoor.
Alison and I climbed up Littaford Tor in search of some light as it was dark in the valley below.
