Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

Werner, have you found any hot spots using the GM 24-70mm with the IR-converted a7R?

Hi Joe,

yes there are hotspots with the 24-70 GM and with to much (back) light heavy reflections, but you can come around with some care.
This lens is certainly not the best for IR, the FE 24-70/4 ZA works much better (as the 16-35/4 which is very good) in IR, well the great optics made me try it ...

Cheers
Werner

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 Series Cameras( all of them)

Made yesterday after a heavy rain. A7RII, FE 16~35mm lens at 32mm. ISO 400, 1/1000 sec at f11. Very contrasD728 framed.jpgty image, so I processed it three times, 2 stops apart in ACR, then combined them as an HDR.
Thanks for looking

Here is a first light with the A7R II ... and Nocti 0.95 ... could not nail focus with the Leica M-D and think the SL is a bit big ...

All done on iPad Pro ... import ... process in LR Mobile ... post through Dropbox...

Sony ICLE-7RM2 Leica 50 Noctilux 0.95

Thanks,

Are you sure it's not 50 years ago ;)

I think the only give away is the relatively modern forklift on the quay, but for the rest it's pretty much timeless.
Thank you Pieter, as you say there are always a few things in this kind of pic that give away the truth...oh well better luck next time :)
