A6000 in new LR 5.4, LR Mobile

...so they say. But as with everything Adobe have done since the introduction of CC (at least with the products I use) nothing seems to work as it should. I can't get CC updater to find 5.4 (mind you, I have never yet got it to download and install any update) and so the Sync features with LR mobile won't work. Nor can I get LR mobile to open or even see a RAW file.

Ho hum. Adobe used to be so good...

I had been telling them for years their products were excellent but their grossly unfair pricing policy has always been idiotic and all their whining about piracy is their own silly fault. All this anti-piracy paranoia has now affected their product quality, they've systematically refused to listen to their users worldwide but sadly by now Adobe is just another wheel in the world marketeering casino and customer satisfaction is the last thing on their agenda ...

Thanks Mike. I managed to install it yesterday and it has been scrunching just over 1000 photos since this morning. I still can't think of a genuine use for it but I will try!

Oh good.
I'd be interested in your opinion of how a raw a6000 file looks. Did you have a Nex 7 at any time to compare? Mine should ship in a few days or a week or so. I hope to use it as a backup to the A7r, but wonder if I should just go with the A7. I don't have any use for AF but would want it to play well with RF wides unlike the Nex 7.

Mike I'm afraid I won't be able to help: I ditched all my RF wides before I got the A6000 and I sent the A6000 back after a couple of days because it didn't track as well as I'd hoped. I don't think I kept any RAW Files. But FWIW the files were better than a NEX 7...
