Sony A7 Fotga adapter vignetting

Just ordered a Fotga adapter from ebay just did a bit of testing and am getting lots of vignetting. This was shot with Minolta MD 28 2.8 @ 2.8 with no hood.

Is this a camera, adapter or lens issue? Are there any tests that I can do to isolate the issue. Aside from the vignetting, the adapter seems to be ok, it mounts solidly, focus is pretty good although it goes a bit beyond infinity.
I also notice slight vignetting with my Minolta MD 100 2.5 as well.

Were these at full aperture? If stopping down improves them, I'd venture to say it's the lens. If not, I'd guess the adapter.

The longer lens would normally show less vignetting than the WA. But both are easily corrected.

PS, I see they were shot wide open, so I suggest you try some f5.6/f8 shots.
