HVL-F20M won't work with LA-EA4?

Hi guys,

I have a HVL-F20M flash and I went to test it with my recently arrived LA-EA4 adapter on my A7 and it won't fire. I put a native FF e-mount lens back in and everything is in order again. This is really weird...

Any thoughts?

I've set release without lens to be able to shoot with adapted lenses as soon as I got the camera. Is there an option specificly for releasing the FLASH while shooting with adapted lenses?

Not that I know of. Just checked mine. Flash set to Fill-Flash, Novoflex Adapter F11 1/60, HVL-20m no problem. Maybe a reset might help?
