Haha, I agree I'd love to see these features, but I'm not expecting them until the next model iterations. Sony's not particularly known for continuing to develop existing products' firmware. I think SAR did report that their RAW process was being reworked though, so that's a possibility. Electronic shutter is highly unlikely to be added as a firmware update, since this is really a hardware limitation of the sensor readout speed (to avoid rolling shutter issues).I am hoping that Sony will "kaizen" us a full electronic shutter and 14-bit RAW files, but I am not holding my breath.
