First, its been quite awhile since I tried doing action photography with fast moving subjects.
I had a chance to go out to Autobahn Country Club Saturday. It's a country club for people with fast cars rather than a golf swing.
Here is a shot to illustrate what I mean.
It was shot with A7RII, 70-200 F4 FE, ISO 400, 1/125th at F8. The camera was set to AF-C and high speed burst. Lock-on AF: Flexible Spot M. Not every image is sharp. That's panning technique. Its apparent when looking at the images, even those that aren't sharp that the camera focused properly.
This has got to be the ultimate Saturday afternoon drive in the country.
