After Blizzard like conditions a few days ago - a little bit of snow but very windy - looking like this

a herd of Elk decided to visit down here, along NM4, just a couple blocks from our house.

A7r2 + FE 35/2.8

The Elk are here on fenced-in DOE land, not accessible by the public.
They can easily jump the fence but enjoy the no-hunting area.
Occasionally I see Mule Deer around here and Elk mostly at higher elevations.

A day later, yesterday late afternoon, same general area my eyes saw this, as it was already getting pretty dark and really cold (as soon as the Sun settles behind the Mtns because of the very dry air)

and after some processing I got this crop at 100% resolution.

It seems in the tree branches we see the effect described here. http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1405421

Olympus OM-D E-M5.2 + M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 1.4x TELECONVERTER MC-14 + NOVOFLEX Adapter with Tripod Mount + Leica APO-Telyt-R 180/3.4

A7r2 + Batis 25/2 FE @ f/4

Infinity Test Shot with above Configuration
Distance to Towers is about 1 mile, to background Mountains more than 10 miles.

E-M5.2 + MC-14 + NOVOFLEX Adapter with Tripod Mount + Leica APO-Telyt-R 180/3.4

With the Novoflex Adapter attached to a tripod head, this configuration is very stable to vibrations.
Attaching the E-M5.2 directly to a tripod head with this long lens configuration vibrates way too much to be useful.
