It's also available on the a6000. It's way too sensitive and not much use for walking on the streets. The only use I can think for it is if the camera is placed on a café table and you don't want anyone to know you're taking pictures with it. Tripod work would be the best way to make use of it.There's an app called "touchless shutter" for the a7r2 that will probably work on the rx1r2 - you just wave your hand past the evf sensor. Haven't had a use for it yet but it works great.
