Any experience with the Vello Nikon F to Sony E-Mount Lens Adapter?

Just ordered the "Vello Select Nikon F Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Auto Lens Adapter" for a trial run. Does anyone have experience with this adapter? Has anyone tried 3rd party lenses (Zeiss, Sigma) that have the Nikon F mount? Any practical advice on its use?
