Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Here is a shot from the Perar 28/4 and the Nex 5n. Nice little lens with similar color rendition to the 35/3.5

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

@ Keith. They look so small and cute those Perar lenses and good quality, I believe. But they are not exactly cheap.

@ Djordje, the first one has a nice tonality and composition within all the improvised building work.

From the series.

Hi Keith, Could you give some information on the price/availability? Thanks!

Also, how does it do on the 7?

As of now, it is in stock at Japan Exposures

japan exposures | films and more (formerly Megaperls Japan Webshop)

It's around 500Euros

Please note that Douglas in this forum had some issues with centering on the 35mm. I have that lens too, and haven't seen the problem.
I'm trying it on the Nex 7 today

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Thanks, Keith. The price seems to be uniform for everything they sell!
I look forward to the NEX-7 samples with the 28/4.

Here is the Nex 7 with the Perar 28. A totally different day re weather. But no magenta cast or smearing.

NEX7 and Contax G Planar G converted to M mount ...
I have been following the conversions of the G 45mm Planar to M mount. Is yours done by Hawk? If so, could we see a photo of the lens?

I am tempted a 3rd time to acquire this lens for a M or NEX conversion.

Thanks!

Thanks for commenting, DjordjeJ. You mean something like this? I'm not sure, though… Really nice images, by the way. Michiel, excellent ones, as usual!

Jim, The lens belongs to Robert Jagitsch (Monza). You can PM him here for information on the Hawk conversion. Here it is on my M6ttl.

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Cool. Once all of my ebay stuff is sold, I'm planning on sending a few of my M lenses in to Hawks for the conversion.

Hot mirror windows. Shot with IR converted (720nm) NEX5-N and Contax G 28mm f/2.8 Biogon. Raw processed in C1 Pro and in CS5 using Jack Flesher's IR Action.

False color version.
