Simon, Beautiful shots. That CV 90mm seems to be a good match with the NEX.
Ingo. These are stunning. I love my 3 Contax G lenses on the NEX.
Hallelujah - My body caps arrived from Sony today....just in time to send my NEX 5 back for the repair that wasn't done the first time
you buy them or did they send them no charge? They promised me one back in July. I have them now but not from Sony.
A couple of images from around these parts. Enjoy.
Hiking Near the Blaebarry River Valley. Columbia Country - British Columbia.
Rocks, water, and clouds. Spray Lakes - Kananaskis Country, Alberta.
My NEX has finally arrived. Here just a few shots from last week. Nothing special, but I really like the colours and the black and white tones of the NEX.
I've used the Kit lens for all the shots and adjusted everything manually - the iAuto-mode seems to make them a bit too bright and just doesn't look that good. They're all out of the camera JPEGs.
Hope to get some better shots in the near future.
Iris, ZA135. Clarkston,WA.
Just tried out some new LR setting...on my A700 with 70-400G at 400mm and ISO 1600
135ZA never ceases to surprise me and in combination with A850, it is a great lens for indoor low light shooting
Great picture using the ZA 135 in low light.
Jerry. Thanks for the kind words. I believe the new ACR algorithm is better tuned for Sony's cameras.
I tried to reduce clarity and this is the end result
I am drooling.
The focus to out of focus transitions are wonderful.
That is too much....but I have been quite stubborn unable to realize the real power of new AF Zeiss..
I have never been able with wider angle lenses
Fun with Minolta 50/2.8 macro D
And the old old 50/1.7 got its new life on Nex 5
135 on A900, my favorite combo
Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures.
The A900 and 135 is excellent in your hands.
Thank you Jerry.
I've been really enjoying the NEX 5s with my Voigtländer lenses. Here are a few shots from a trip last week to Toronto. These shot are with the CV 90mm and Sony 18-55mm lens and PP in ACR and CS5. More at my site.
"Whoa, it wasn't me!"

Love the hiking shot Simon
MG - the dismal wood with the red lipstick is fine
David - I like both of those - especially the cruise (you went on a cruise?) shot.
I've just carred my A900 with the 24-70 and others around Crete for 3 weeks . . . . with one battery (10% charge at the beginning) and no charger Not a rewarding experience!
Just this guy you know
Yes we were on a cruise from Dover to Naples, had glorious weather except in Guernsey and Herculaneum.
My nightmare would be forgetting the charger - It happens to someone on every cruise I have been on, usually someone else has the same camera if you are lucky.
I hit a small problem, the old M8 charger would not fit in the only socket in my cabin... fortunately reception let me plug it in there, though I did have 4 fully charged batteries with me.
How was Crete?
PS The captain spotted my iPhone 4 and wanted to try it, he has an iPad and this is the camera for it.

Red Wolf Bridge, Snake River
Great shots from the 16mm fisheye. I have never got it right though.
Mark, I guess the novelty hasn't worn off yet here! - But it suits only certain subject types for sure.
"A K A" Budd Inlet
Contax 35-70/3.4 on A900
I love the first one Philip.

Took the NEX to a concert a few weeks back to see how it would handle the lighting.

Nice capture Dave - a view of El Cap that I haven't seen before.
Here's one from an early morning outing, to bad the clouds were so thick they didn't light up as that would have been stunning.

I sure wish the NEX could take sharp images like the X1.
Barjohn .... was that taken with the NEX or the X1??? I was a bit unclear when I read this...
That was taken with the NEX. I was being sarcastic because the X1 owners claim the problem with the NEX is that it can't produce sharp images like the X1.
OK, Thought that was a NEX image but was not positive...... Thanks John... Great shot!
NEX & leica lens or NEX & NEX. In case the former applies, it would be prove that the NEX needs Leica to perform (or Contax). Whereas the X1 is and has Leica
Barjohn...... there MUST be something wrong with anyone who wants to shoot a NEX.
Dang fuzzy images ......... you would have to be blind to like them!
Lens was a Leica 40/2 cron.
