And don’t forget to say hi!
I like it, it's a competent enough lens for me and sharper then my 16-50 and 18-55 kit lenses at 20 mm (I have good copies of both these kits). I think the Sigma 19 is sharper then the Sony 20 when comparing reviews, but it's also a lot bigger (specifically longer) which is why I choose the Sony.Hi Pegelli,
What do you think about E20/2.8? Planning to buy it too, but im not sure whether to buy sigma or this sony.
LA-EA 4Nice shots, I like the "environmental" style, showing more then just the animal.
May I ask which adapter you used and what you think about handling on the A7Rii style body?
I have the LA-EA4 which I sometimes use on my A6000, but usually I prefer to use A-mount lenses on my (ancient) A700 or A850 for a more pleasing handling and balance.
Thanks Tom, it means a lot to me hearing that from a fellow photographer from GetDPI.Nice one Pieter - until I saw the title I thought I was looking at a shell!
In all seriousness, I've really enjoyed your shots the last few months. Quality work!
That's what makes it fun though, right? =)I still feel like a jack of all trades, but master of none
The greens and reds/pinks look more vibrant in the a7RII photos. Both cameras/lenses are sharp with good contrast. I'm far from being a rendering expert, and like both versions. Not much help, eh?Just got a 55mm FE so I decided to do a little comparison shooting vs. the 35mm on the RX1RII.
Here are the same 2 flowers shot w each camera.
Just wondering what people think ?
I realize they are not the exact same shots just interesting in people's opinions on the sharpness and rendering.
1st one in both sequences is the RX1R II.
Beauty Barry.Thank you Karl and Bugleone...very kind of you both
Yep, the 90mm is one sharp lens as you know yourself Karl...both of these were heavily cropped.
It's been a bit quiet around here lately...hopefully Annna will have something for us all soon
