Deceased, but remembered fondly here...
Philip Jones Griffiths, who's book "Vietnam, Inc" is one of the
classic works on the war died of lung cancer on March 19th. Griffiths served
as president of Magnum for five years, longer than any other president. In addition
to covering Vietnam, he covered wars in Algeria, Israel, Northern Ireland, Cambodia,
Iraq and Bosnia
Magnum's presentation of his work.
His book (22 years in the making), Agent Orange:
"Collateral Damage" in Viet Nam, can only be compared to Eugene Smith's
Minamata.
