The winner of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award has been disqualified after judges ruled that the featured wolf was probably a "model".

Sad. Sad if it turns out to be a staged image and even sadder if is isn't.

Perhaps most sad is that the judges chose that image as the winner, trained wolf or not. 43,000 photos entered and that jumping wolf is the best they could come up with?!? Must have been 42,999 cellphone pix entered.
