I would love to see a comparison of the image folks shot than the final image you printed and worked. Folks would love to see what you started with out of the camera to the final image you printed. I think this would be a nice exercise on how important post processing is. This is your new homework . LOL

OK Teach, here it is. Raw processed in C1-4 (the before images use the defaults except I turned off color noise reduction, no other adjustments) then worked in CS3 for the final images. First image is from the Moab workshop.
