Steve Jobs on the new iPhone 4: “It’s like a beautiful old Leica camera”

"The precision of which this (iPhone 4) is made is beyond any consumer product we have ever seen. It's closest kin is like a beautiful old Leica camera."

Barf. $teve Job$ is marketing -- start to finish -- nothing more. The man is a techno-has-been, yesterday's news.

There ain't a dime's difference between made-in-China Apple and made-in-China anyone else, anything else. Apple gets very high marks for the layout and the documentation of their designs, but it ends there. The actual build quality and the quality of components in Apple products is mediocre to sub-par. Consumers can do better.

Thanks for posting that, John.

Do you suppose that Oskar Barnack told those early Leica users "Just don't hold it that way"?

Perhaps so....in which case, the similarities between Apple and Leica may be more than skin deep.

What's the latest recommendation for the new i"Phone".....a carefully placed, three fingered grip? :)
