San Juan Bautista trip sounds great and I would attend except I am taking a Bodie History Workshop that weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing SJB Photos. Have fun

Oh darn, Bodie -- how awful for you. (Kidding of course!) Bodie is a great place to photograph, so enjoy it Phil -- and be sure to post some images! We'll see you at the next local get together.

Hi Jack:

Bodie time is always fun. I published "Portraits of Bodie" through Blurb several years ago. Blurb has a neat preview function so go to www.blurb.com and search for either "Portraits of Bodie" or "fotophil" to find it.

I shot the entire book on film so my trip next weekend is the beginning of my digital Bodie Book.

Hey Phil,

If you haven't been there since film days, fair warning: The dust has built up to "incredible" levels inside the buildings, and rendered indoor shooting a lot less interesting. This was as of my last visit 4 years ago...

Uwe - the video looks good...with my new Arca highlighted. Need to pack for a trip and then look at my files from today. Will try and post something later but I have a 4:45AM pickup for Orlando.

OK, I had a few minutes to download files. Here are two (essentially right from the camera) with the Rm3d. Amazing how much detail the lens resolves....I need to learn more on C1 because I'm not sure I'm doing the best job of reducing the files to web jpegs. My inflight movie on the flight tomorrow will be a C1 tutorial.

A lighting challenge!

Being aware of all the details.....
I was taking a few different shots to try and blend the exposures but failed to realize midway through that Jan, Jack and Chuck decided to chat outside the window....LOL
