Cornell Capa, Photographer, Is Dead at 90


Cornell Capa, who founded the International Center of Photography in New York after a long and distinguished career as a photojournalist, first on the staff of Life magazine and then as a member of Magnum Photos, died Friday at his home in Manhattan. He was 90.....

This is very sad. I have never met him, but I have spent a lot of time at ICP, and I am directly indebted to him for founding that incredible institution. There is really no other place quite like it, and his idea to bring photographers together has done so much good for photographers around the world.

This is essentially what I said on another forum. ICP is an incredible institution.
