Thats an really excellent group of photographs . Damon Winter is considered one of the best New York Times Photographers ...already a Pulitzer winner. Those are worth studying .

Number 8 really looks like the Noctilux but I bet its the Canon 50 1.2 as the NYT uses mostly Canon 5DII s .
