I think that both with a mercurial character driving the company I'd say yes. Also the incredible inventiveness and ability to actually put what must have seemed impossible to deliver technology into consumer's hands literally overnight.
I fear sometimes that post-Jobs, Apple is starting down a road of shifting away from their original goals and core ethics (as seen by the recent patent cases, relentlessly accelerating product update schedules and IOS product quality mishaps) and that they'll have their own Tom Petters pop up at some point in their future. Some of my colleagues and I are beginning to have 'Apple fatigue'.
