While too expensive, too large and too heavy don't always convince me, the bokeh (or should that be non-bokeh?) of this lens should be reason enough to stay rather far away from the monster. The Zeiss f/2 is cheaper, sharper, smaller and lighter and has a bokeh to die for. I think I would be able to live with the lost stop
