Some weeks ago I bought the book Metropolis by Martin Roemers at the opening of is exhibition with the same title in Huis Marseille, Amsterdam.. A survey of real big citys above 10 million inhabitants. A fantastic series of photographs shot with a Mamiya 7II. Yes analoque!

He used long exposures during daylight to emphasise the hectic. He used local fixers to search for the right spots. Impressive!

At the same time there is an exhibition of Dana Lixenberg "Imperial courts" 1993-2015 A black community/neighbourhood in Los Angeles. Wonderful portraits in big black and white prints. ( Yes also analoque)
