Ah, but I did not mix! I had a palette-sanitizing *very-dry martini* before enjoying the wine --- trust me, this is okay and really does work! Mixed cocktails with sugary syrups, no, but any clear alcohol essentially by itself, yes.

And of course the digestif comes after the wine, so harm there
