Thanks Bart, a previously unknown printer lens turned out to be a rare gem!
Amazing sharpness, contrast and colors that were exactly how I saw them!!

Oh yes indeed, also to me. Nights are colder, smells like autumn and the leaves are turning color.

I think these were made for light capture/transmission rather than imaging.

Well, it has been a few years since I knew about them, but their $$$$ price tag left them out of reach.
Then the inventor and owner passed and his son liquidated the company remains, so I got three... ;-)

According to the documents they were made for imaging, some directly attached to a camera, some to image intensifiers.

Did any camera exist at that time to record Lyman Alpha (Hydrogen) line?

Obviously, why would someone found a company making such optics if there were no use for them??

It is not “obvious” to me that is why I asked. What 135 film existed in 1977 that would register far UV?

    TIA!

Thank you, Klaus for the answer and an online accessible link (genial!)!

As you well know what the usual online discussions on film and UV sensitivity are!

    Thank again!
