Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar - Elmar 9cm f/4 -- ISO 100 -- f/4 -- 1/800 -- 9cm

A visit to the local used camera shop today and came away with the Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar - Elmar 9cm f/4. It was in very good condition with clear glass, I have enjoyed the photos and the bokeh effect that it produces.

. . . . . another day of rain, neighborhood garden tour today, so the GF1 and the new (used) lens went for walk. It is great when you can do two things at once, keep the women of the house very happy and get to take some pictures!

"Bent Grass"
Here is another shot that I did early this evening with the cheap lens. I did a walk about in the back yard and shot about 70 frames. I probably will be posting more in the next few days.

And one more of today with the same combination with a more
tender approach :)
Little flower is about 12 mm, but not as much in focus as the buds.

- Between the grass -
Michiel, a great shot of the Iris and Poppies . . . . .

. . . . . but I agree with Leica 77, the photo above is my favorite out of the three!

The soft creamy green bokeh for the backround of the Pink & White flower works so well. Very pleasing to the eye!

Many excellent images again, from Michiel, Dan, John, Mike, Jerry .....
I hope I didn't forget anybody ;)

Here's the first shot with the G1 on the SINAR.
Although it is possible to reach infinity with this combo, even with the wide-angle bellows,
tilts and shifs are only possible when shooting close-ups and macro.

Not a big handicap in this case, but still ....

Thank you Keith, Michiel, Leica 77, Jerry and Rafael for your kind words, they are appreciated . . . . .

Rafael, great shot of the rose, love the soft creamy bokeh your lens produces, wonderful!

Love this thread!

Love the simplicity and softness in this one, Dan.

You are becoming a master, especially with the legacy Leica lenses.
