Rafael, Not sure if it can be used for taking pictures but is one hell of a lens for "photographing your bokih".

I have a few (not this particular specs). I used to use them on a Nikon F2/film.

Normally, they weigh upwards of 1-2 kgs. Some are highly radioactive (yeah, talk about "glow").

They were collimating lenses from old type X-ray machines.

Many lens makers made them- Canon, Leica (yes!), Rodenstock, Kowa, Angenieux...

    Full of aberrations (fuzz).

It would make a good door stop! Seriously, no focussing, no aperture adjustment not designed for the visible light part of the spectrum - need I go on?

I didn't get that from the description. It's not an X-ray lens, it's a lens designed for an X-ray machine. Two different things.

Here's a discussion on another forum about this lens, with some sample photos: http://photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00Tsmd

It's a specialized lens for photographers who specialize in making beautiful IR portraits of the eyes of people standing exactly a meter away. Decadent non-specialists need not apply.

If you or anyone wants a TV-Heligon and an Oude Delft 50/0.75 lenses, let me know. They are heavy so shipping will cost a bit.

Permanently fuzzy and with a fixed focus of ~30cm or less, these are the lenses to have for photographing your bokehs.
