    “Maximilian (Max) Jarmil Regnier”

I guess I’ve shot over 200 photos of Max since he was born last Thursday, but I keep coming back to this one. Andrea calls it “Kohoutek” which mean rooster in Czech. I’m sure more will be coming. I shot this one on my iPhone. Seems like my best shots that day where from the iPhone.

Thanks Rafael. I don't want to overwhelm everyone with baby pics, but when I get a good one, I'll post it.

Thanks. The tone is actually mainly created via blending (plus some grain).

Some shots are with different cameras GF1 IR, GH2, 60D and Hipstamatic.

“Light Patterns On My Wall #1″
I was sitting down relaxing at my house when I saw this pattern of light on the wall. It was light coming in thru a scratched up skylight. I decided to use my iPhone since it was in my pocket and I was feeling to lazy to get my EP-2. I’ve added a bit of texture to the outsides, but other than that, this is a straight shot.

    “Wisteria In My Chair”
The other day during the high winds, quite a lot of the wisteria blossoms blew onto the deck and some landed in the chairs. This is just the way I found it in our chair and I used my iPhone with the Hipstamatic app to shoot this image. I added quite a bit of mojo to it of course.

This is actually shallow moving water at the beach (strong sunlight). Silver Efex Pro 2 pulls out a lot of detail that you at first don't see with your eyes.

My funny eyes seem to want this as a vertical image; when I turn my head over to the right to appreciate this I get the feeling this is the correct way up ...

Here is a reworking of a shot from a couple of years ago. Made this into a panoramic 30"x76" with encaustic wax applied. I sold this to a corporate client to hang in the lobby. The original was a square. What would I do without photoshop!

    Re: Blends

    "Meteor Crater, Winslow Arizona" EP-1
This was a difficult shot. It took two shots blended together to capture the crater.

Between 20,000 and 50,000 years ago, a nickel-iron asteroid weighing hundreds of thousands of tons and possibly 150 feet in diameter crashed here at a speed of about 40,000 miles per hour creating Meteor Crater. This is the best preserved impact crater in the world and the first crater which scientists agreed was caused by an extra-terrestrial impact. The impact which had an explosive force of perhaps 20 megatons of TNT created a crater 4,000 feet wide and 700 feet deep. The crater is 550 feet deep today. The force of the explosion uplifted sections of bedrock as much as 150 feet and tossed huge limestone boulders out of the crater and around the rim.

KLaus those two pics are awesome. They made me smile because they are perfect. Just like some sort of fairy tale.
I was looking at the catch lights in the eyes on "arranging my stars", cant work out if you used multiple reflectors or you added the catch lights to match the stars... Excellent work, simply excellent.
