Hi Michael,
I see what you are saying. I'm not sure that I am too fond of this image after looking at it for a long time. The water looks like a cut out figure. Anyway, snow has melted again and it is like spring, so I guess I'll go do some more shooting. Thanks for your ideas.

Nice as usual. I love red poppies but the orange California poppies also have their charm (no blend).

It maybe interesting to compare with the untreated photo (edited but colors more or less like they were):

Added my favorite Paper/Pebble texture and finally an own look created in Magic Bullet PhotoLooks. This made it darker, less shiny and overall richer I think.
