Wonder if we'll get whacked again this Christmas??

Anyone remember the huge lens price increases from Nikon, Canon and Pentax in late 2008 and early 2009? I wonder if this will happen again and with 4/3rds? Socking it to preexisting body owners seems to be how they shore up sales numbers when overall camera body sales are lower.

Leica will have a price increases jan 1st on the their lenses and accessories according to David on the LUF. The M9, S2, and X1 will stay the same.
