    ColorChecker Passport

I've just got this gizmo which allows you to make dng profiles easily, either in the application or through Lightroom.

It does indeed do what it says on the tin...but I cannot get it work with the EP-1 and the two kit lenses. In Lightroom, it brings up an error message saying to try it in the main application. When I convert an orf file to dng and drag it into the application window, it says that the file isn't a proper dng file, and won't open it.

When I try with regular four thirds lenses on an adaptor, or old Hexanon lenses on an adaptor, both methods work.

I don't know if this is related to the software corrections in the EP-1 files. I've emailed x-rite about this, and will let you know their response.

Try exporting the DNG with compatibility set to "Camera Raw 4.6 and later". You should then be able to drag the DNG onto the passport app. The problem is that the passport app doesn't understand the latest DNG version (5.4 and later) with the embedded op codes.

Thanks Greg. Just tried your suggestion, it works both ways.
