wonderful video--GF1 one of cameras used

From one of my favorite videographers, Philip Bloom. The GF1 was one of the 4 cameras used (2 5DIIs and a 7D plus the GF1).

Bloom is good. But for time lapse you can use any camera .

Watch the movie Baraka and you can watch time Lapse on steroids (done 1992).

Actually, his work convinced me that I didn't want to get into video. It seems like a tremendous of work for something I don't know what I would do with it.

It isn't the stop motion--there are some terrific ones on Vimeo, but he just can put together a video that is so visually interesting--the whole thing, the photography, cutting, processing, music. There are some others also, but he can take any camera and just has a vision for the final video and makes it compelling.

I agree, Terry, that's why I just decided it was not my direction at all LOL. I love looking at videos done really really well--but usually once. I have no desire to BE a videographer

The major thing I thought was interesting here is that there's no way to separate the GF1 footage from the 5DII (2 of them) and the 7D. Even the more lowly (in terms of relative to the GH1) GF1's video is quite good in the hands of someone that knows how to handle it.

And if you read his blog it seems like the GF1 had a pretty prominent role.
