GF1 Goes Ape at the Zoo

I took the GF1 with me to the Fort Worth Zoo when I was testing the X1. I knew there would be several situations in which I would not get the shot I wanted from the X1 due to the distance from the subject. I was using the 45-200mm on the GF1. The more I use that lens the more I appreciate it.

Below are a few samples.. more on my website.

Those are great, but I was expecting to see the gorilla pointing the GF1 at you!
That is one of my favorite zoos too.

Great pictures Jim, the 45-200 is really a sleeper lens, isn't it? Just out of curiosity, did you try face recognition focus on the apes?

Cheers,
