When will the 14/2.5 be released?

Exactly! I'm beginning to think it has been abandoned... And what is the point of announcing something that is years away from production anyway.

I think the point of early announcements is to get us to buy into the system early. I bought an E-P2 hoping that the lens road map actually gets completed at some point. I'm not interested in the zooms but knowing that both Panasonic and Olympus plan on bringing out wide angle lenses made me take the plunge, getting by with the 17 and 20 for now.

Perhaps when the G2 & G10 hit the streets. Or maybe they're holding it back along with the announcement of something new.
