    EVF and polarizing filter

I adressed the question in dpreview forum but nobody answered: I've read that one cannot see the effect of a circular polarizing filter in the EVF. How do you landscape photographers use such a filter? Is it the same with a linear polarizing filter?

You have read something that isn't true. If you have a liveview cam with an EVF, try it out for yourself. Before that, prepare yourself for what you should look for. The use of a polarizer is almost as old as photography itself, there are no new surprises even with a liveview cam.

I've used a polarizing filter on a G1 and yes, I can see the change when I rotate it.
