I have to be honest i was expecting this lens to be a bit of a specialist dreamy lens on my gf1 but wow.. it is so sharp at 0.95 and appears to expose like a true 0.95 too.
These photos aren't interesting but just my first shots with it.
Straight out of camera.

(note both eyes in focus @ 0.95)

I'm not sure if this is the exact optical lens as the one on B&H (and the one discussed in another thread here)
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/46335-REG/Schneider_21_012101_Xenon_25_mm_f_0_95.html
I got it from an ebay seller and appears to be a different housing,

I'm not sure how this lens compares to the angenieux but so far it seems damn sharp and is much sharper than my pentax 50 1.2 is adapted on my gf1 (my only other truly fast lens)

I'll post some better samples later on

Nice look on the GF1!

The bokeh looks less busy than some of the other fast lenses that I've seen (Noktor). More samples please... =)

Here's some of the vignetting (i could do a traditional white wall torture test but i prefer to take test shots of things that i'll actually take pictures of)

wide open 0.95

f5.6

f11

and one more to show bokeh wide open - it's fairly 'swirly' but i think its pretty smooth

here is a comparison with my pentax 50 1.2 k mount

Schneider 100% crop @ 0.95

Pentax 100% crop @ 1.2

I'll try and get some non test shots soon.

do you think this vignettes less than the angenieux or senko f0.95s?

also, it seems to vignette both (1) a bit more and (2) more abruptly when stopped down. on my senko 25mm f0.95, it is more abrupt but vignettes less. does that make sense?

are any of the cat pictures cropped?

I have no idea this is my first 0.95. Nothing is cropped all the pictures are straight from the camera.
The cat pictures just seem to have less vignetting than some of the others because they were shot indoors in darker situations i guess.
From seeing angenieux pictures i'm guessing that this lens covers about 90ish% whereas the angenieux covers 95%. I'm hoping someone with an angenieux can chime in though.

Y.B., the tonality on your second shot is incredible. Beautiful shots!
