8mm cine lens.

I am still new to using cine lenses on G1. Just wondering if the sensor coverage for using an 8mm lens is too narrow. For example this one:

What is the difference between a c-mount and d-mount lens? How do you figure the equivalent 35mm focal length when you a cine lens on the G1? Does the FOV changes as well relatively speaking?

D mount lenses mount far too closely to the sensor to be used for anything other than extreme macro. The coverage won't come anywhee near filling a frame. Most 16mm lens don't.

How does c-mount lenses relate to 35mm lenses in terms of their FOV when mounted on the G1? Because of the smaller circle of confusion with cine lenses, does it means the resolution or bokeh would be better? I know spherical aberrations are generally not well corrected with cine lenses on G1
