    Focus assist with a G-1, and Voigtlander 25 f 0.95

How is it possible to activate the focus assist magnification with this lens?? It doesn't communicate with the body so no automatic sense of MF.

    Thanks.

BTW This lens is something else. I don't know if it is really a f 0.95, but is sure is great at light gathering.

You have to activate it manually.

    Yes, it's 0.95.

    Monza

How do I activate it manually???? I never have used a lens that really requires focus assist (the Contax G lenses that I have used have greater depth of field).

    Thanks.

You can also change magnification by turning the dial on the front of the camera.

    Thanks Monza.

It really works well. Very helpful for the short DOF when using the lens wide open.

Thanks again, focussing now is a breeze, even easier than before.

How great that camera makers nowadays add manuals to their cameras
