    Nice Mandrill.

    Thanks Ron, I found the Common Crackle on the internet: a lovely and interesting bird.

    Excellent shots, Mark. You know, I still think the GH2 is doing a better job than my old G1.

    So far this was/is my best shot

    Kind regards.

    @Uwe:
    The "Shallow Water on Beach" is just wonderful ! You've got to love the play of water, wind and light.

    @Rafael:
    No, not the 'Keukenhof', that's way too crowded, but a place much further to north near Callantsoog.

    @Louis:
    What an amazing capture, fine detail and colours here.
    Woodpeckers are just such shy birds, well at least on my balcony they are.

    @Jim:
    Thanks and I'm glad you like the shots.

    All the very best.

    biglouis - the color on this is fantastic. was this taken at 300mm? and did you need to do any sharpening in PP?

    Thanks very much! It is a goose, and must be less than a week old. I had been to the same park the previous weekend and there were not babies. This weekend they were all over the place.

    Here's one of the mothers.
