C’mon, help us out here ...

Warejageddit? (tagline of an old Australian [not Austrian!] TV commercial)

What cheap fun and wonderfully creative lens!

Excellent, the best descriptions of the potential and reality of this lens yet!

Thanks!

Today arrived my second CCTV-m4/3 adapter, first (above) is a little bit s.h.i.t: no red point visible, no stop screw, very thin smooth edge, not easy to remove.

New adapter (only few bucks more) is usable for CCTV-25mm and M42, has a good visible red point, stop screw and is easy to remove.

Based on the images, that lens is for a 2/3" CCTV sensor, but the cropped images look nice and sharp. With the NEX, it's going to hack away a large part of the field, but again the crops should be good. I'd go looking for a CCTV lens made for a 1" CCTV sensor if you want to use one on the NEX. There are some out there made for 1.3" sensors, but I've yet to see one turn up on Ebay or for sale used.
