President of Olympus, that is. I didn't know until now, but apparently, starting from 1 April, the president of Olympus Corporation in Japan will be Michael C. Woodford, a British national from Liverpool who has been with the group since 1981, four years after he graduated from Millbank Business School.

I don't know about this, but my impressions is that there aren't very many foreigners among top management in major Japanese corporations. To round it off, he's also an MBE. Must be bilingual as well as bi-cultural to say the least
