that part sounds great, but this part:

The 14-35mm costs around $2100

is a bit less attractive (cough)

but I bet it'll be lovely for the video folks!

Those prices are for the Olympus 4/3 Zuiko lenses. The exact specs and price of the Panasonic lenses are not publicly known.

Fast lenses have always been expensive and relatively large and heavy. I think I'll have to make do with legacy lenses or maybe the new Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6. I'm still waiting to see what the imgages from that lens look like.

The Pana Leica 25/1.4 for regular 4/3 was almost twice the price of the PL 25/1.4 for Micro 4/3. I'll be very surprised if the 14-35 zoom costs more than $1000.
