m 4/3 - which has fastest AF?

Any of the new models will be plenty fast. Oly claims the fastest but personally we are down to measuring thinks that are probably faster than your reaction time. There are still some lenses that don't focus quite as fast on any camera - example the 20mm f1.7.

That being said, contrast detect AF still is not as good at phase detect at erratically moving objects where you are trying to use focus tracking to keep the subject in focus.

Are there obvious differences in AF speed of today between the various m4/3 models?
to get the fastest CDAF you need m43 cameras w/ the latest generation Panasonic sensors (18mp/GH2, 16mp/G3, 12mp/EP3-EPL3-EPM1)... within those, w/ the same lens mounted you shall not find a noticeable differences in a good daylight... come the darkness and Oly will as usual suffer.... note that Panasonic and Olympus claims are w/ a fine print = lab conditions (read - very good light, very contrast target, dark zooms /bigger DOF = less work for CDAF/, certain focus distance, certain distance to subject, etc to make it easier for them to claim something).

Include the GF3 and GX1 in that mix. Also, the GF2 while not the latest, the difference would again be very marginal.

if GF2 does not have a sensor with 120fps readout for CDAF then the difference will not be marginal... the whole point of faster CDAF was move to move from 30-60fps to 120fps, not only making lenses optimized to how CDAF works... consider that - was GF2 (Announced: Nov 4, 2010) ever on par w/ GH2 (Announced: Sep 21, 2010) speedwise ? and if so why not even Panasonic itself made any claims about it to that effect (but only about GH2) = I mean about CDAF speed ?
